It is an extraordinary time in the life of the Arts &
Ethics Academy, a wonderful time of great promise and opportunity. The
role of Development within the Arts & Ethics Academy community is to raise the money
to help realize this incredible potential.
The Arts & Ethics Academy is distinctive but we are not unique. As is
the case with many other public charter schools donations are essential to the quality
of education we can deliver. Development seeks donations to cover the costs of our
campus as well as to provide vital enrichment programs, technology, lab equipment and
even basics like whiteboards, classroom furniture and supplies.
Development works through both private solicitations and
the Annual Fund to enlist support for the school from parents, friends,
and the wider community. The Annual Fund will be launched in the fall to specifically
request unrestricted donations to cover operating costs. Development
also works with other organizations to seek grants, raise funds and choose to make Arts &
Ethics Academy the beneficiary. In addition, we will launch a Scrip Rebate
program to help with school operating costs.
